The Third Monthly Exams are upon us, below is the exam schedule and test scope.

 

Please remind your child to go over vocabulary and reading stories listed in the test scope.

 

v  Listening Exam: Wednesday, 06/14

v  Oral Exam: Thursday/Friday, 06/15-16

v  Written Exam: Tuesday, 06/20

 

LISTENING & ORAL EXAMS:

 

·         Vocabulary Focus: Week 14 ~ Week 17 (Communication Book)

·         Reading Street Stories 3.1:

o   Seeing Stars (pg. 446-457);

o   Around One Cactus (pg. 512-527)

·         Listening Skills:

·         vocabulary words and RWN words for spellings of sounded words with /j/, /k/, /s/, consonant patterns wr, kn, gn, st, mb, RS vocabulary pages, prefix and suffix words

o   Oral Exams: Reading, answering questions

 

WRITTEN EXAM:

·         Vocabulary Focus: Week 14 ~ Week 17 (Communication Book)

·         Story Comprehension:

o   Seeing Stars (pg. 446-457);

o   Around One Cactus (pg. 512-527)

·         Phonics Focus: vocabulary words and RWN words for spellings of sounded words with /j/, /k/, /s/, consonant patterns wr, kn, gn, st, mb, RS vocabulary pages, prefix and suffix words
