4th Grade Midterm Exam Scope – Spring, 2025

 

Dear Parents,

 

The Midterm Exams are upon us, below is the exam schedule and exam scope.

 

Please remind your child to go over vocabulary and reading stories listed in the test scope.

 

v  Listening Exam: Wednesday, 04/09

v  Oral Exam: Tuesday, 04/08

v  Written Exam: Tuesday, 04/15

 

LISTENING:

 

·         Vocabulary Focus: Week 3 ~ Week 8 (Communication Book)

·         Reading Street Stories:

o   Lewis and Clark and Me

o   The Horned Toad Prince

o   Letters Home from Yosemite

o   Listening Skills: Listen for words in a sentence; listen and identify pictures; listen & circle the correct word; vocabulary words for spellings long vowel a, e, i, u words, word endings –ed, -ing, suffixes –ist, -ive, synonyms and antonyms.

 

ORAL EXAMS: Public speaking with focus of feeling and intonation for story telling
